Blurbs for Delirious!

DELIRIOUS blurbs are here . . .

It's been a while since I've tended to my blog.  Weeds have sprouted and interest waned.  But March 1st kicks off my 12 month countdown to publication date.  My first novel, one of three I'm contracted to write for Kensington, will hit bookstores everywhere.  John Scognamiglio is my ever enthusiastic editor and Meg Ruley, from the Jane Rotrosen Agency, my ever present agent.

The time has come to start spreading the word about the book.  I've been creating stuff since forming my first rock band at sixteen (Grand Theft Auto).  Over the years I've penned four novels, recorded two CDs, wrote at least a hundred songs, dabbled in poetry, and crafted a haiku or two.  DELIRIOUS represents my first legitimate shot to have a creative endeavor of mine get noticed by more people than my wife and kids (though I've greatly appreciated their support along the way).

So what is DELIRIOUS about?

In DELIRIOUS, Charlie Giles, an up-and-coming electronics superstar,
sees his life unravel as his company and inventions are wrenched from his control, and his family is decimated.  One day he's king of the hill, the next day he's the prime homicide suspect as his former employers are picked off one by one.  In a mind-bending story where the line between what is real and what is imagined twists and turns, Charlie enlists his schizophrenic brother to uncover the dark family secrets that lie at the heart of the conundrum.

Some have compared the novel to the great film Memento (boy, I hope it's got legs like that).  I describe it as: a techno-savvy, psychological thriller, appealing to geeks and technophobes alike.

I'm launching my buzz building campaign by sharing blurbs from three AMAZING New York Times bestselling authors, who graciously agreed to read the manuscript, and stunned me with their glowing praise.

Here's what they wrote:
"Daniel Palmer hits all the right notes in his terrific debut novel, Delirious.  Great characterizations, non-stop suspense, and a fiendishly clever plot.  On top of that, this may be the most techno-savvy thriller yet.  Delirious looks to be the first novel of a long and distinguished career.  Terrific stuff."
-John Lescroart, NYT-bestselling author of the Dismas Hardy novels, including Treasure Hunt, A Plague of Secrets, Betrayal, and other novels

"A roiling plot, insightful characters, clear, intelligent writing.  What more could you ask for in a novel?  Delirious is one awesome kick-off for an exciting and multi-dimensional talent.  It's an electrifying ride, whetting the reader's appetite for more.  Daniel Palmer is a writer to watch. This guy is going to be around a long time."
-Steve Berry, NYT-bestselling author of The Paris Vendetta, The Charlemagne Pursuit, The Venetian Betrayal, The Alexandria Link

"Daniel Palmer delivers a high-speed thrill ride, filled with shocks and mind-bending twists.  DELIRIOUS is a terrific debut!"
-Tess Gerritsen, NYT-bestselling author of ICE COLD

I hope you'll take a moment to read the prologue for DELIRIOUS and leave a comment with your thoughts.  Thanks for your support.  Only 12 months to go!
